I would like to give a shoutout to Jon at Legacy Auto-Tech in Alger Heights for being able to fix my Acura! On June 24th, he approached me at a parking lot where my car was stuck at and we thought my car needed a battery jump, but it was the starter. So because of Jon being a good samaritan to me, I got my car towed to Legacy to get it fixed. He was able to get my car a new starter and I was really happy with the customer service that I received while my car was there. I highly recommend Legacy Auto Tech!

I've been a customer of Legacy ever since getting my truck back in 2014 and they're my first stop if I need anything fixed (being a '94 F150 with nearly 300k miles things are starting to pop up). I've never once felt like I wasn't getting a fair deal or that they were giving me the run around, the quality of work the guys do is great and they stand behind it, and they've gone above and beyond for me and a few friends on several occasions - in my case I had to make an emergency drop off of my truck midway into taking my elderly mom (76) on a grocery trip. Being mid winter and almost a foot of snow on the ground we would have likely had to take a bus back home but without batting an eye one of the guys offered to give us a ride back to her appartment because we weren't far away. When my truck was finished later that afternoon he even came back to give me a ride to pick it up! Legacy genuinely is one of those friendly family businesses and I'm always happy to recommend them whenever I'm asked about mechanics.

I’ve been using legacy before they were legacy (use to be Jacks). Andy has always treated me fairly. I believe Andy is honest and fair I once requested that they replace my struts (I was alway told you do that at 80,000 miles) Andy told me it wasn’t needed and saved me $100s if not over a $1000.00. I would recommend him to friends and family.
